i am thinking of getting a small axe at some point in the near future.
would love it if there was an axe workshop at some point or even one covering tools in general.

also i tried Elder as a hand drill too much like hard work that lol.

what sort of thing would you be looking for in an axe workshop? I am generally the "sharps" man so could possibly sort something out.

well as the saying goes the pink things on the ground are fingers lol.
just general skills to start with i know the very basics.
but it is better as far as sharps go to be taught in a real situation than to learn by a book so to speak.
and of course would be useful as i attend a retreat some years and the last time the Axe was so blunt that it would have had trouble cutting water let alone wood lol.
axe carving would be a good addition to it as well.

Plus i suppose i am itching to meet a few fellow bushcrafters in the local area

i suppose it is a confidence thing and the passing of knowledge as well

The idea will be to have all weekend. You could come down on the saturday night, or the sunday morning. It wont be an official course - just an informal get together and sharing of ideas/skills.
